The scouse accent is changing according to researchers with more and more Liverpudlians starting to sound like southerners.
Researchers from Cambridge university analysed data which showed that people are pronouncing words in a similar way to those from London and the south-east.
But do Merseysiders think their findings are a load of rubbish, or have things changed over the years? These Echo readers give their verdict.
