HIBS crashed out of the Irn Bru Challenge Cup as they lost 2-1 to struggling St Mirren at Easter Road.
The defeat leaves Neil Lennon's men without a win in four games across league and cup competitions as the Hibees lot another chance to win the lower league tournament.
Alex Harris was given a rare start for the Leith side and repaid Lennon's faith with a right-footed strike after 37 minutes, cutting in from the left and beating the Buddies keeper to find the back of the net.
