Investors lose £3m in phoney kids film that starred John Travolta as a Gummy Bear

A pair of companies which lured movie investors into handing over £3million by giving out false information, including a claim they were making a film starring John Travolta, have been shut down at the High Court.
Spice Factory (UK) Limited and Gummy Bear Films Limited told investors the Hollywood star was voicing the main character in Gummy Bear 3D: The Movie.
They collected millions of pounds from the public but the movie was never made, and most of the money was divided between company director Michael Cowan and business partner Steven Wilkinson.
