Interior designer inspired to complete bedroom makeover for Barrow girl with leukaemia

Anne Sowerby, 49, from Plumbland, has been hired by the Make-A-Wish foundation to redesign 10-year-old Aimee Robinson's bedroom.
Mrs Sowerby is working with a team of labourers in Chatsworth Street, Barrow, to complete a five-day makeover of Aimee's pad after she expressed a desire to have a new den with a more grown-up feel to it.
Work started on Monday as Mrs Sowerby and Askam painter and decorator Chris Shepherd stripped the room bare to make a start on overhauling the Aimee's bedroom.
