Interim head brought into Cumbrian academy school
 

An interim headteacher has been brought in to run Workington Academy.
A letter received by parents today says that headteacher Jonathan Logan, who has been in post for just over a year, is absent.
Colette Macklin joined as interim head today. The academy would not say why Mr Logan was absent.
A spokesman said: “Mrs Macklin has excellent credentials along with a wealth of experience and expertise in delivering high quality leadership, teaching and pastoral care in academies very similar to Workington Academy.”
