Inquest into death of leading LGBT campaigner found dead at Holyhead Marina is opened
 

An inquest into the death of a leading Merseyside transgender campaigner found floating in Holyhead marina has been formally opened and adjourned.
The body of retired charity worker Penelope Bassi, 61, of Devonshire Road, Liverpool, body was recovered on September 5.
North west Wales senior coroner Dewi Pritchard Jones said she was found floating in the marina .
It is believed she had been staying on a boat moored in the marina.
