Innocent driver nearly injured after shots fired in Liverpool street



An innocent driver could have been injured when shots hit his car in Dovecot.
Three blasts are believed to been fired on Finch Road just before midnight.
Nobody is thought to have been hurt but damage was caused to a passing Ford Fiesta - whose driver is not thought to have been the target of the “reckless” attack.
Officers were called to the scene at 11.45pm on Thursday following reports of the shooting.
At least one of the shots is thought to have struck a Ford Fiesta Zetec that was passing through the area.
