Indian summer rolls on as bookies' tip record temperatures in October
 

Bookmakers are tipping record high temperatures in October.
The bookies believe it could be a temperature triumph next month as forecasters crank up their expectations of the mercury rising past the 20c mark.
In the UK, the hottest ever day in October currently stands at 29.9 degrees, which was recorded on October 1, back in 2011.
According to Betway, there are odds of 6/4 for this year’s Hallowe’en to be the hottest in history.
It was just two years ago that an eerily warm 23.6c degrees was recorded in the UK on October 31.
