Indian summer hits Dunelm sales



The Indian summer hit sales at county homeware chain Dunelm – although home deliveries continue to grow.
Posting its first post-Brexit figures, the Syston-based business said revenues fell 1.8 per cent to just under £199 million in the 13 weeks to October 1.
Like-for-like store sales – which don't include growth created by new shops or online sales – were down more than 5 per cent.
The business said: "As expected, unusually warm weather had a dampening effect on store footfall.
