Indian female taxi driver documentary hopes to inspire, embolden women



LONDON (Thomson Reuters Foundation) - When Selvi was 14, she was married off to an abusive husband who forced her into prostitution.
Over a decade later, her escape and journey to becoming one of India's first female taxi drivers are the subject of a documentary film, "Driving With Selvi", that aims to inspire women to break out of traditional roles, its director said.
