Increased police patrols after kilted sex attacker assaults 19-year-old woman in heart of Edinburgh's student area
 

Police in Edinburgh have increased patrols after a kilted sex attacker indecently assaulted a 19-year-old woman in the heart of the city's student area.
The teenage victim was attacked in Salisbury Place as she was walking home at around 2.50am on Sunday.
The woman fought the suspect off, who then made off towards Minto Street.
He is described as white, early thirties, 6ft tall with a large build and dark hair. He was wearing a red kilt, calf-high boots and a dark hooded top with numbers on the front.
