Immigration officers raid Silsila Indian restaurant in Driffield



Immigration enforcement officers raided a restaurant and arrested a man working in the UK illegally.
Officers raided the Silsila Indian restaurant in North Street, Driffield, acting on intelligence that the business was employing illegal workers.
A marked Home Office Immigration Control van turned up at the restaurant on Sunday evening.
Once inside Silsila, officers arrested a 41-year-old man from Bangladesh who was found to be working in the UK illegally.
