Ilkeston man told to get rid of his BEARD if he wants job with delivery firm UPS

A bearded man says he feels “discriminated” against after being told he could not have a job with multinational delivery firm UPS unless he was clean shaven.
David Hanger, of Ilkeston, was keen to apply for a job with the courier firm as a multi-drop driver before being told that the company has a strict policy on facial hair.
The 48-year-old attended the Big Job Fair event at East Midlands Airport last weekend where dozens of companies advertised roles, including two of the airports largest international cargo partners UPS and DHL.
