Iconic tower in Frankfurt may have been burned down by arsonists
 

Someone may have burned down an iconic tower in Frankfurt on purpose.
The Goethe Tower, which was 43 metres tall (141 feet), went up in flames early on Thursday and the police suspect it may have been arson.
In total 60 firefighters fought to save the landmark but all they could do was prevent the fire from spreading.
Police spokeswoman Isabell Neumann said: ‘It all looks like arson. There were no electronics inside the tower and there were also no thunderstorm last night.’
