Ice warning issued for Greater Manchester as region remains in the grip of freezing temperatures



An ice warning has been issued for Greater Manchester following a weekend of weather disruption.
While the snowfall was not as heavy as originally forecast, the sub-zero blast did result in three flights from Heathrow to Manchester being cancelled on Sunday afternoon.
The Met Office has issued a warning for icy conditions today.
The alert is in place for southern parts of Greater Manchester.
