Ian Wright left ‘disappointed’ after Arsenal’s 2-0 victory over Basel
 

Arsenal missed a chance to lay down a marker for the rest of Europe by only beating FC Basel 2-0, according to Ian Wright.
The Gunners strolled to victory with two first-half goals from Theo Walcott enough to see off the Swiss champions.
Arsene Wenger’s side eased off in the second half and Wright believes his former club should have been more ruthless in front of goal.
‘One thing disappointed me,’ Wright told BT Sport.
‘They should have been more ruthless, it was an opportunity to score four or five, lay down a marker.’
