Ian Poulter 'itching' to play Ryder Cup golf again after watching misery unfold for Europe at Hazeltine 

Ian Poulter is desperate to be part of the next Ryder Cup team and feels there is no need to change Europe's approach despite their heaviest defeat for 35 years at Hazeltine.
Poulter has been a talismanic figure in the biennial contest, earning the nicknames of 'Mr Ryder Cup' and the 'Postman' because he always delivers a point for the side.
And after being forced to settle for a non-playing role this year due to a foot injury, the 40-year-old wants a more central task when Europe try to regain the trophy at Le Golf National in Paris in 2018.
