I want a nice ground and Salford City to be playing in the Championship, says Paul Scholes

Manchester United legend Paul Scholes has said that his ambition is to see Salford City playing in the Championship, with a new stadium and thriving academy.
Scholes owns 10% of the National Northern League side alongside former teammates Phil and Gary Neville, Nicky Butt and Ryan Giggs, with foreign investor Peter Lim owning the other 50% of the club.
The five former ‘Class of 92’ stars bought Salford in 2014 with the club having just finished 12th in the Northern Premier League Division One North, while Valencia owner Lim came on board shortly afterwards in September 2014.
