'I think the club might be talking to Aston Villa' - striker issues transfer update



Ross McCormack has admitted he wants to extend his stay with Melbourne City to the end of the current A-League season.
A brace against Wellington on Saturday took McCormack’s tally to 10 in 13 appearances for City since heading Down Under on an injury replacement deal in September.
His loan was set to expire on January 25 but McCormack has now confirmed talks are underway between Melbourne City and parent club Aston Villa to extend his stay.
