'I'm not here to change the face of English football... but I will try to get Manchester City playing in the style of Johan Cruyff', says boss Pep Guardiola



Pep Guardiola has reaffirmed his intentions to grow Johan Cruyff's legacy through implementing his style as Manchester City manager - but the Spaniard says he will not change English football.
Guardiola worked under Cruyff during his formative years as a player at Barcelona, and the Catalan club's La Masia's coaching system is often considered as the foremost bastion of Cruyff's footballing ideology.
As Cruyff's posthumous autobiography - My Turn - was released this week, the City boss paid tribute to his former coach and reiterated his designs of bringing Cruyffian qualities to his side.... read more
