'I have been thinking why I didn’t see the car?', lorry driver who crashed into vehicle, killing Leicester mum Laura Cooper, tells court



A lorry driver has described to a court the moment he crashed into a broken-down car on a motorway, killing Leicester mum Laura Cooper.
Anthony Cheshire’s Scania lorry hit a Nissan Note, in which Miss Cooper was a rear-seat passenger, after the car ran out of petrol and became stranded on the M25 in Essex, in March 2016.
Miss Cooper, of Garth Avenue, Mowmacre, was killed and the driver of the car, Tammy Langton, and teenage passenger Yasmin Fry were both seriously injured.
