A neonatal nurse who battled through her own grief to help others has been nominated for a national award.
Becky Taylor, from Acklam, lost her little girl, Anabelle, just 122 days after she was born.
Becky, 33, returned to work as a neonatal nurse at the University Hospital of North Tees, and continues to offer support to families suffering similar heartache.
Anabelle was born on December 7, 2013 to Becky and husband Glen.
Just 17 hours after her birth, she was diagnosed with a rare congenital heart defect.
