Hungary fears BRUSSELS BACKLASH after 98% vote to reject migrant quotas
 

The Hungarian government came out jubilant this morning after it emerged 98 per cent of voters backed them and voted “no” to taking on mandatory grant quotas from the EU.
Voters in Hungary showed overwhelming support for their prime minister in the referendum which asked “Do you want the European Union to be able to mandate the obligatory resettlement of non-Hungarian citizens into Hungary even without the approval of the [Hungarian parliament]?” 
But the vote which took place on Sunday will be ruled invalid since there were not enough people at the polls to make it official.
