Hundreds gather to say goodbye to South Tyneside dad Luke Wilkinson



On a bright autumn morning hundreds of mourners gathered to say goodbye to popular South Tyneside dad Luke Wilkinson.
The father of two, originally from Marsden, was flown home from Singapore after collapsing on holiday and was diagnosed with liver failure. He sadly passed away at the Freeman Hospital in Newcastle earlier this month.
Family and friends packed out the South Shields Crematorium to remember Luke in a humanist service delivered by minister Ray Wood, which celebrated his life.
