Humber Seafood Summit opens with tribute from the top to 'our Steve' as 50 year career closes



SEAFISH chairman Brian Young praised the "sterling service" of Grimsby Fish Merchants Association chief executive Steve Norton as Humber Seafood Summit 2016 opened in style.
As reported last week, a 50-year career in seafood is being brought to an end by Mr Norton, who also served as a councillor for 30 years.
He was presented with a bottle of champagne, surrounded by industry peers, at Humber Royal Hotel, as the now established welcome evening Seafood Fayre got into full swing.
