Humber Bridge bosses reveal major new plans to prevent suicides
 

Humber Bridge bosses are considering raising the height of safety railings to prevent suicides.
Experts are carrying out a feasibility study to determine if the measure is both practical and cost effective.
The Humber Bridge Board made the announcement as the parents of William Shaw, 14, who jumped to his death from the Hessle landmark on September 17, 2014, said more needs to be done to protect the vulnerable.
