Hull City 'set to appoint Mike Phelan on permanent basis'



Hull City are set to appoint Mike Phelan on a permanent basis this week, ending months of intense peculation.
Sky Sports say that the 54-year-old is close to signing a contract to take the Tigers forward for the remainder of the 2016/17 Premier League season.
Phelan has been vocal in his bid to secure the job and finally he may have his wish as weeks of discussions look set to come to a close.
