David Marshall: Nothing he could do to prevent either of Chelsea's goals and a couple of strong saves prevented the defeat from becoming heavier during a sloppy second half. A decent start to his City career, despite the goals conceded. 7
David Meyler: Commendable effort in the unfamiliar position of right-back. Barely troubled during the first half when Chelsea were contained but a stretched display after the break saw him exposed too often. Sloppy at times. 5
