Hull City finally appoint Mike Phelan as Head Coach



Mike Phelan has finally been appointed as Hull City's permanent head coach on a long-term contract.
Phelan spent a total of 83 days in caretaker charge of the Tigers but has today been confirmed as Steve Bruce's successor at the KCOM Stadium.
The 54-year-old, who first arrived in East Yorkshire when named Bruce's assistant in January 2015, begins his first permanent job in management when City travel to Bournemouth on Saturday.
