Hull City braced for raid on coaching staff by Steve Bruce



Hull City caretaker manager Mike Phelan is braced for a raid on key members of his backroom team as former boss Steve Bruce edges closer to a return to management with Aston Villa.
Bruce is the odds-on favourite to succeed Roberto Di Matteo at Villa Park and reports have suggested the 55-year-old has already begun lining up a potential support team.
City's first-team coach Stephen Clemence, who has earned plaudits while serving as assistant to Phelan, is thought to be under consideration, along with the Tigers' long-serving goalkeeping coach Gary Walsh.
