‘Hull bus lanes should run from 7am to 7pm’ says EYMS boss



A transport boss says Hull's bus lanes should be operational 12 hours a day.
Bus lanes in the city operate during the morning and early evening peak periods at the moment.
Only buses, taxis and motorcyclists can use them on roads heading into the city centre between 7am and 9.30am and on outbound routes between 4.30pm and 6pm.
City council officials are currently reviewing whether to extend the hours as a result as increasing traffic congestion, particularly during the afternoon.
