Huge Wolverhampton plastics factory fire treated as suspected arson



Investigators have revealed a huge fire which devastated a Black Country factory is being treated as suspected arson.
Up to 70 firefighters battled the blaze at Ash Plastics on the Clearwater Industrial Estate in Wolverhampton late on Tuesday night.
Shocking footage (see above) showed the extent of the damage caused by the inferno at the Ettingshall Road site, where two units collapsed.
Nigel Gooding A spokesperson for West Midlands Fire Service said: “Last night we had 12 fire crews tackling a severe blaze at a factory in Clearwater Industrial Estate in Wolverhampton.
