Huge haul of gold rings and necklaces found dumped on path



A Tamworth pensioner has been reunited with items of sentimental jewellery after the valuables were found dumped on a bridle path.
A walker from Baddesley Ensor stumbled across a huge haul of jewellery and three jewellery boxes on the track near Shuttington, two weeks ago.
Police were alerted and PCSO Lauren Hughes and PC Roxanne Kinsella set about tracing down the rightful owners of the jewellery haul, which included engraved pendants, necklaces, bracelets, a wedding ring and old mining checks.
