Huge barn blaze which took three days to die down may have been started 'maliciously'
 

A barn fire which took three days to die down may have been started “maliciously”, police say.
Officers investigating the blaze which took place in a barn at Morley Hill farm on Coach Lane, Hazelrigg, Newcastle , have asked for the public’s help to trace anyone who might have been connected to the incident.
At 3.15am on Sunday, September 18, police received a report of a large barn on fire in Hazelrigg.
The fire service brought the fire under control, and it was “allowed to burn out safely”.
But the blaze wasn’t completely extinguished until Wednesday, Sept 21.
