How to see spectacular Northern Lights over Scunthorpe



THE weather is gradually getting colder - but it could be a good thing.
It brings the chance to see the Northern Lights over Scunthorpe and Northern Lincolnshire.
Keen-eyed stargazers could have a good chance to spot the natural phenomena, which sees ribbons of colour darting across the sky, during the weekend as we head into the autumn equinox.
According to the Met Office, while the area can expect some showers, when there is a break there is a good chance to spot the phenomena – technically called aurora borealis - usually reserved for more northern climes.
