How one man conquered his lifelong stutter and is helping others do the same
 

SIX years ago Steven Cairns would struggle to even say his own name because his stutter was so severe – but now he gives public talks and teaches other sufferers how to improve their speech.
At his lowest point he felt so depressed over not being able to communicate that he thought about ending his life. But then he discovered treatment courses run by the McGuire Programme and turned his life around and is now determined to help others.
