A property near to such a green space is typically 22 per cent higher than an otherwise identical property, according to Nationwide.
This means an average £46,000 more for a home in these areas.
Properties within a short distance from a park benefit from an uplift in value of around five per cent.
The New Forest is the most expensive National Park to buy a property, with an average value of £525,000, the analysis showed.
On the other hand, Snowdonia is the cheapest park with a typical price of £157,000.
