Hospital worker gets through cancer treatment with a little help from her friends
 

When Lynda Wennington was diagnosed with breast cancer, she was not fazed in the slightest.
The hospital worker, 44, knew she was in good hands - as her colleagues were alongside her every step of the way.
Lynda, who works in the Sterile Services Department at North Tees Hospital, was surrounded by her work friends during her ordeal.
The mother-of-one has now had a mastectomy, and thankfully does not have to return for more treatment.
Just six weeks ago, she discovered an abnormality in her breast and found out she had several tumours.
