Hospital trauma unit to close for a year due to fire safety fears
 

A hospital trauma building will temporarily close due to fire safety fears raised after the Grenfell Tower disaster.
The trauma unit at John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford will be shut for up to a year due to ‘a combination of fire safety factors’, Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust said.
These include the cladding on the side of the building, which is likely to be replaced during the closure.
