Horror as mum and girl 'stabbed to death in throat in their beds'

A court has been told how a 15-year-old boy stabbed a Spalding mother and daughter to death in the throat in their beds and left blood splattered up the walls.
The court was told the boy and a girl, who cannot be named for legal reasons, discussed stabbing their victims through the voice box so they would not be able to make a noise, Nottingham Crown Court was told.
The bodies of school dinner lady Elizabeth Edwards, 49, known as Liz, and her daughter Katie, 13, were found at their semi-detached home in Dawson Avenue, Spalding, on April 15 this year.
