Honorary professor at the University of Nottingham wins Nobel Prize for Chemistry
 

An honorary professor at the University of Nottingham has been awarded the 2016 Nobel Prize for Chemistry.
Professor Sir Fraser Stoddart, an honorary professor in the school of chemistry, is one of three scientists to have been awarded for their work in developing the world's tiniest machines.
These machines are a thousand times thinner than a strand of human hair.
