Home for vulnerable people called 'unsafe' by watchdog closes
 

A home for vulnerable people has closed due to funding cuts after it was put in special measures and rated 'inadequate' by a health and social care watchdog.
Mappleton House, in Chestnut Grove, Mapperley Park, provided accommodation for up to 11 people with learning disabilities.
The Care Quality Commission carried out an unannounced inspection of the home on July 6 after Nottingham City Council raised concerns about the service.
