HoloLens lands in Britain: Pre-orders open for the developer version of Microsoft's augmented reality headset

Hot on the heels of the launch of big name virtual reality headsets including the Oculus Rift and Sony's PlayStation VR, Microsoft has confirmed the imminent launch of its HoloLens headset.
Today, the software firm announced it would be rolling out pre-orders for two versions of the headsets in six countries, including the UK, Ireland and Australia.
The 3D holographic headsets offers an augmented reality experience, where graphics are overlaid on top of a real-world view.
