High Flyers give wings to Brightwells Fayre Oaks sale of Welsh Ponies and Part-breds
 

Prices for Welsh equine breeds found their highest level for almost a decade at the 63rd Brightwells Fayre Oaks sale.
A total of 419 Welsh Mountain ponies, Welsh Ponies and Welsh Part-breds were entered for sale at the Royal Welsh showground (Sept 24-25).
Some 81% were sold, the best clearance since 2007.
Seventy six ponies went for £1,000 or more, while the sale average was also the highest for nine years, up £61 on 2015 and £190 higher than 2013.
