HGV driver who saved schoolboy from bus stop attack is a HERO say readers



An HGV driver who saved a schoolboy from attack at a bus stop has been hailed as a ‘hero’ by Birmingham Mail readers.
Footage emerged yesterday of the frightening incident in Wood Green Road, Wednesbury at 8.40am on Wednesday.
The lorry had pulled up beside the bus stop - and a gang of three older boys can be seen attacking a young lad with a bike.
The driver saw the drama unfolding and decided to step in - he gets out, and saves the young lad who was being held in a ‘choke hold’.
