Heroin dealer told police ‘I’ve got lots of friends’ to explain stream of visitors



A drug dealing gang member who took delivery of large amounts of heroin from Birmingham explained huge numbers of visitors to his home by saying: “I’ve got a lot of friends”.
A court was told that the property had 15 visitors a day who each stayed for about two minutes – and tenant Darren Hennessy tried to pass off them as pals.
Judge Thomas Crowther QC said he was satisfied the operation, lasting between April and September 2015, involved at least a kilo of the Class A drug.
