Heroin addict admits slashing homeless man's face - leaving him needing 85 stitches

A heroin addict admitted slashing a homeless man’s face and eyeball - leaving him needing 85 stitches.
Stephen Tully, 38, approached beggar Anthony McIntyre on December 23 last year and “whipped” a stanley knife across his face.
Christmas shoppers on busy Castle Street looked on on horror as Mr McIntyre, 51, was left with large cuts to his eyebrows and nose, as well as a cut to his left eyeball.
Tully, of Canon Road in Anfield, was pushed into Liverpool Crown Court in a wheelchair by his dad today, due to heroin-related health problems.
