Hermes ‘sacked driver who rushed to see premature baby saying “parcels come first”‘



Delivery giant Hermes allegedly told a courier ‘parcels come first’ when he was sacked for rushing to hospital to see his premature baby.
The company told its driver who couldn’t work after the birth of his child being told ‘that’s it, your contract is cancelled’, MPs heard.
