Here's when the Manchester Olympic parade 2016 is being held
The Olympics ‘Welcome Home’ parade is being held on October 17, which is Monday.
Theresa May announced in August that a national parade to celebrate Olympians and Paralympians will take place in Manchester.
And Councillor Sue Murphy, deputy leader of Manchester City Council , says the goal is to inspire children who could be Greater Manchester’s future athletic stars.
The scheduling will be led by the Government, but Manchester leaders hope to have a say.
