Herald ‘VIP’ first to get hands on game
 

THE launch of Stratford-upon-Avon’s very own version of Monopoly was also a proud moment for Stratford resident Carole Taylor who has been nominated the Stratford Herald’s Very Important Player (VIP). She was presented with one of the very first versions of the board game as her reward.
Carole, aged 68, from Bishopton, was born and bred in Stratford, has been a trustee at Stratford Town Trust since its inception, and has worked at CA Rookes Wine Merchants for 45 years.
